Aurora

Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 1995, at Stavanger) is a Norwegian music producer and a singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released through the label Decca Records in May 2015 receiving great approval from bloggers as well as the press. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are two of her most well-known recordings. Katy Perry's praise for her track Runaway on her blog brought the singer additional acknowledgement. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is when she discovered an old grand piano hidden in the attic. She was fascinated by what it could do. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. The Aksnes family encouraged her to not to pursue music solely for fun or for the sake of growing, but that she should take it seriously. She began to write with her own music. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her favourite songwriters. To counter her mother's suggestions that she should not be aiming at achieving fame through their songwriting skills, she instead realize the importance of themselves as well as their contribution to society. At age 6 she started playing the piano and at nine, started writing songs. Her family didn't hear about her musical journey until she was 14. Aurora's success was never her goal. The only thing she loves is writing music. According to her music, it is the best method of expressing anything.
