Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana, on April 15,1976. Monroe Christian School is a only private Christian school. Ward was a student at Ouachita Parish High School for secondary education. After that, she attended River Oaks High School the summer following her junior year. The school she attended briefly was Northeast Louisiana University after graduating. Ward quit school at 13 and moved in New York so that she could start modeling. Several years later she decided to also try acting. In the 1970s, Ward was a part-time actress with no credit in the soap opera daytime All My Children. Then she landed a short-lived role on NBC's primetime teen-drama Malibu Shores. She landed the role of Meg Cummings, a virgin at Sunset Beach in 1996. In 1999, her career in film began by playing Brittany Foster (the psychotic Brittany Foster) in the erotic-thriller The In Crowd. The film did not do well in the commercial theatres, but it did find some successes on home and cable. Following the film, Ward starred in a supporting part in the cult film Shallow Hal. The other roles she has played include several direct-to DVD films as well as guest roles in TV series, such as Friends. She was a main actor in ABC Family's drama show Make It or Break It for the first two seasons of 2009. The year 2009 was the time she got the role Chloe Kmet as the mother of a teenage gymna. In terms of her personal life, she's married to David C. Robinson. With him they had Cameron.

Sandra Lee has achieved great recognition on social media thanks to her pimple popping and blackhead removal videos. Dr. Pimple-Popper, the name by which she's known on her Facebook and Instagram accounts, has been able to attract 13 million people following her.
